We strive to provide high-quality fabrics suitable for a diverse range of applications. It is important to note, however, that we do not perform absorption testing on our fabrics. The absorbency of any fabric can be significantly influenced by the design and construction of the final product in which it is used.
Key Points:
Product Design Influence: The ultimate absorption capacity of a fabric in a finished product depends heavily on the product's specific design and construction. Variations in design can lead to significant differences in performance.
Recommendation for Testing: We strongly recommend that customers conduct their own testing to determine the absorption characteristics of our fabrics in conjunction with their product designs. This testing should consider all elements of product design and the interaction between different materials.
Interactions with Other Materials: The performance of our absorbent fabrics can be affected by the use of additional layers or materials. For instance:
Variability in Performance: Due to the myriad of factors that can influence the absorbency of a fabric within a specific product design—including material combinations, construction techniques, and external conditions—we cannot guarantee specific results without proper testing.

I bought a brand of underwear that are absorbent for women with stress incontinence. One pair cost twice what 2 yards of Zorb costs. So I decided to buy material to see if I could make my own liners. Zorn is perfect. I have been telling others they need to buy this fabric and save money too.
I make fleece liner bedding for small pet cages for both my pets and also to sell online to other pet owners. I decided to give Zorb a try since it sounded like a great product to use as an absorbent layer in the liners. I originally was using Uhaul layers, which are a hassle to work with sometimes depending on the size of liner I am making, plus, when I clean my Guinea Pig cage (5 Guinea Pigs). The uhaul core is always wet, and makes the liners heavy and awkward to move around. I decided to make a liner with the Zorb for my Guinea Pigs to test it out. I was instantly in love with the fact that it was easy to cut and sew, and that one layer of Zorb holds as much if not more that doing 2 layers of Uhaul. The liner was much lighter when I went to clean the cage and change it out after 5 days. To my surprise there was only very minor dampness in the areas they lounge around the most. Everywhere else, the liner was dry! The uhaul was always wet across 80% of the liner when it was time to swap it. So the fact the zorb fleece liner dries easier, which in itself is wonderful, it is also not as heavy to move around when swapping with a fresh liner. I started offering Zorb as an option over uhaul for my online shop and I plan to move strictly to zorb absorbent inner core only with my fleece liners I make. I made a small, very amateur skilled video of the absorbing differences between Zorb and Uhaul to post on my online listings.
I'm making cloth diapers and have found this combination to work for me: I "quilt" a strip of this Zord to the inner liner of the diaper. I make a soaker of one layer of W-226 & one layer of W-227. This kept my 17 year old niece dry and leak free for 4 hours. one layer ofW-234 needed to be changed with every void
My daughter has windows that are not properly sealed in her apartment. In the cold weather, moisture comes in and settles on the sills. I made pads for her to absorb the water ( used double layer of zorb inside flannel). The zorb was easy to sew with and the pads seem to be helping a lot. Happy with the purchase!
I use this in my guinea pigs cage. Easy to work with, very absorbent and yet lightweight
We make to order fleece cage liners for small pets, mostly guinea pigs, and pet pads for crates and such with an absorbent middle layer. Generally we use a u-haul furniture pad which consist of recycled denim for the absorbent layer, it is about 1/3 the cost of ZORB but many of our customers know of, have used and would like ZORB to be used in the cage liners and pads that their pets use so we offer it as a substitute at a slightly increased price over the u-haul pads.
My own test, for the applications that we use both products for, prove the ZORB to be a superior product in several regards, rate of absorption and holding of liquid.
But it’s more than quality and shipping. This is a small, family owned business and they do their absolute best to do things in excellence. I love Wazoodle. I’ve been a customer for 3 years.
I use the Zorb Original Style as an absorbent middle for liners/pads that I make and sell on ETSY. It works great, isn't too thick, but is very absorbent. Shipping was timely and packaged well.
I haven't used it yet, but I really think it is going to do what I wanted it to do.
I love original zorb.. It's easy to work with and has minimal stretch.. I just wish it could be a little more affordable..
I use it as an absorbent core layer for reusable cloth pads that I make for donation and sometimes myself.. 1 layer of Original Zorb = moderate absorbency and 2 layers of Original Zorb = heavy/overnight absorbency.. I combine it with flannel since Original Zorb can be susceptible to compression leaks..
