We strive to provide high-quality fabrics suitable for a diverse range of applications. It is important to note, however, that we do not perform absorption testing on our fabrics. The absorbency of any fabric can be significantly influenced by the design and construction of the final product in which it is used.
Key Points:
Product Design Influence: The ultimate absorption capacity of a fabric in a finished product depends heavily on the product's specific design and construction. Variations in design can lead to significant differences in performance.
Recommendation for Testing: We strongly recommend that customers conduct their own testing to determine the absorption characteristics of our fabrics in conjunction with their product designs. This testing should consider all elements of product design and the interaction between different materials.
Interactions with Other Materials: The performance of our absorbent fabrics can be affected by the use of additional layers or materials. For instance:
Variability in Performance: Due to the myriad of factors that can influence the absorbency of a fabric within a specific product design—including material combinations, construction techniques, and external conditions—we cannot guarantee specific results without proper testing.

Haven't used yet but planning
I work with a group that makes menstrual pads for a charity in Ghana that keeps girls in school. Several of our members have gotten these grab bags for making the waterproof base layer for the pads, and have had great results. They suggest leaving a note in the order that says what you're making, so there's a chance you may get items that are more suited to your needs. And the thought of getting two POUNDS of PUL for $20 was too good to pass up. Alas, my grab bag contained faux fur PUL, canvas PUL, and a heavier-weight PUL that I think will be too heavy for pads. I'll still have loads of fun with the items that I got, but it wasn't what I'd hoped for. A great option if you want to just play around, but if you've got a specific need, this might not be the option for you, unless you're a luckier Grab Bagger than I was.
The shipment arrived promptly and weighed 2 pounds, It included two large pieces, V2 Zorb 4D organic cotton dimple core PUL in blue lagoon (pretty thick and dense), and V1 Zorb organic cotton dimple core PUL on unbleached/natural color. The organic cotton is seamed together, but for my purposes, that is perfectly fine. I was very lucky in that the lagoon was one large piece with very little waste. This large piece, which is about a yard to a yard and a quarter long, I am using for an absorbent mattress pad. My husband has a central nervous system injury so 1/2 his body sweats profusely at night. To date, he has been using towels to sleep on. He is having to change out the towels in the middle of the night. I’m excited to see how this new fabric works. The organic cotton I am going to use as crotch lining for panties and to line bras. It is a thinner density and should be perfect for that job. The 4D has the perfect layering to make a fuss free, absorbent, wicking, and moisture proof liner. Hello Summer Heat! I will be ready!
I took advantage of the sale on the mystery bags, and I received A LOT of fabric. One piece I received was a yard or so of a fabric I had wanted to try but decided against because it was more expensive than I wanted to spend for my project. That piece alone made the purchase worthwhile. I'm absolutely thrilled with what I received. I would never have been able to afford all of this fabric any other way. I can't believe how much fabric I received! The pieces are all usable for projects. There were no small pieces. Everything was at least a yard!
The only negative to the mystery bags were the colors. There is a beautiful piece of jersey that is almost a neon orange, and I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. I'm thinking t-shirts for the grandsons? Most of the fabrics were very dark. I would have liked lighter, but as they say: I knew the job was dangerous when I took it! LOL
Bottom line, I will not even hesitate to buy more mystery bags in the future. I just want to make sure I don't become a fabric hoarder. This fabric is so nice that it's a temptation!
I’m so glad I ordered these. I really liked the variety of fabrics to try out for different projects. I made some Guinea pig cage liners out of some of the fabrics and toy storage bags out of the other fabrics. I will order again.
This is my second mystery bag I ordered and Wazoodle did not disappoint ❤️ love all the fabric I received and can use every one of them ! Totally worth buying - ships fast!!
Great products and just what I needed for my projects.
I love these mystery bags. I’ve ordered them twice now. The first time i got a mix and the zorb mix. Second time i got the pul and zorb mixes. It’s a great way to try something new. Zorb on its own is the best value from this site but with the mystery sets keep the cost down. I am all about creating less waste and consumption of plastic etc. i also would like to make reusable paper towels with this!
Great variety of fabric to experiment with!
