What's New at Wazoodle
It's easy to use just any fabric for your guinea pig, hamster or rabbit's cage liner, but that doesn't necessarily mean it'll be effective. A well designed pet cage liner will usually have three layers. A top moisture wicking layer, a middle absorbent layer and a bottom waterproof layer.
The top comfortable layer can wick moisture away to keep the surface dry at all times. We recommend using the ProTEC Premium Microfleece or ProECO Bamboo Lining Fleece. They are soft to walk on and keep your pet warm and cozy.
The middle absorbent layer will quickly absorb and hold any and all liquids. We recommend the Zorb Original Fabric or any one of our Zorb 3D Dimples Fabrics. Zorb Original should be stitched between the top and bottom layer before washing; Zorb 3Ds are ready to absorb right out of the box.
The bottom waterproof layer will not allow any liquids to leak out of the bottom of your pet’s cage. We recommend the ProSoft 1 mil Eco-PUL or ProCare Waterproof. The ProSoft is super soft and flexible; the ProCare doesn't have any stretch at all.
Another very useful option that'll save you the hassle of stitching is an 2-In-1 absorbent & waterproof fabric like our Zorb 4D Waterproof CORE PUL Fabrics. They combine the middle absorbent layer and bottom waterproof layer into one. Just add on a top comfy layer and your pets will love their new home.
