This fabric contains Ready-AbZORB, a technology we pioneered. It eliminates the need to pre-wash and dry to activate the super absorbency. It also reduces 60% to 80% of shrinkage.
Our products are 100% free of PFOS, PFOA, lead, dioxins, heavy metals, BPA, and all kinds of phthalates, including DEHP, DBP, BBP, DINP, DIDP, and DnOP. Read Blog Article
It can be used on its own, not as an interlining so it's ideal for reducing cost, increasing product performance and supporting the environment
This fabric absorbs 10 times its weight in less than 2 seconds. It also soaks up 20 times faster than bamboo, cotton, or hemp knits. This fabric is perfect for keeping sweat under control.
This fabric is durable and reversible. The thirsty Zorb 3D fibers live in between the 100% absorbent organic cotton layers.
Unique, three-dimensional engineered dimple pattern provides greater retention, superior hold, faster distribution of moisture and less leaking under compression
CPSIA certified, meeting stringent standards by the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission on lead and phthalates and flammability.
All Zorb fabrics are super absorbent by virtue of their knitting construction; they are not made with SAP (super absorbent polymers), so their super absorbency lasts for the lifetime of the fabric.
This fabric can be used on its own. While you can interline it, you don’t need to, which can cut down on costs and increase the product’s performance while being environmentally friendly. Additionally, this fabric reduces shrinkage, so you get more for less.
The more Zorb fabric you use, the more absorbent it is. There’s no limit to how many layers you can use. Because two layers of Zorb replace 9 layers of flannel, 7 layers of french terry, and 6 layers of organic fleece, you can dress more comfortably while staying warm and dry.
This fabric is engineered to meet exacting USA requirements; it’s the highest quality-assured organic fabric on the market, which means peace of mind for everyone. Plus, Zorb doesn’t contain super absorbent polymers, so their super absorbency lasts as long as the fabric does.
Our pioneered Ready-AbZORB technology ensures this organic fabric has maximum absorbency with minimal shrinkage.
This fabric is perfect for single-layer pre-folds, soakers, changing pads, fitted diapers, blankets, bibs, burp cloths, play mats, medical products, and incontinence products. It can be used for so many different purposes.
No matter what your product is, Zorb can help you design it.

We strive to provide high-quality fabrics suitable for a diverse range of applications. It is important to note, however, that we do not perform absorption testing on our fabrics. The absorbency of any fabric can be significantly influenced by the design and construction of the final product in which it is used.
Key Points:
Product Design Influence: The ultimate absorption capacity of a fabric in a finished product depends heavily on the product's specific design and construction. Variations in design can lead to significant differences in performance.
Recommendation for Testing: We strongly recommend that customers conduct their own testing to determine the absorption characteristics of our fabrics in conjunction with their product designs. This testing should consider all elements of product design and the interaction between different materials.
Interactions with Other Materials: The performance of our absorbent fabrics can be affected by the use of additional layers or materials. For instance:
Variability in Performance: Due to the myriad of factors that can influence the absorbency of a fabric within a specific product design—including material combinations, construction techniques, and external conditions—we cannot guarantee specific results without proper testing.

This is my second time ordering this fabric as we are now expecting another. The first time was 1.5 years ago. We used this fabric for cloth diaper inserts and are my favorite! I have tried microfiber (yuck :) ), bamboo and hemp.
We made them about 14x4 and got about 14/yard with the fabric doubled. This time around we put 4 layers of fabric on some - perfect for overnight!
We don't have a serger and the inserts have been holding up fine
Used for menstrual pads and underwear. Good absorbency and soft against skin but I still add a wicking top layer because the cotton felt a little too wet for my liking against the skin.
While this product is nice, but for incomitance pads, more is needed for the inner layer to add along with the 3d zorb. Alone with a topper and the pul, leaked right through.
So pleased! I made inserts for pocket diapers out of this, and they have stood up to my heavy wetter like nothing we’ve tried. The inserts are definitely easier to make (and lower profile) with a serger, but I made the first few on a regular machine and they would be just fine.
I’m so impressed with this material. No compression leaks, and it holds so much!
I love Wazoodle products they have incredible customer service and knowledgeable about all thier products and and understand many of the projects thier customers make.
The quality, feel and sewing of every fabric I have used is amazing. They use quality materials and produce an exceptional product truly unmatched in the industry.
I needed a leak-proof fabric for my cloth menstrual pads, as all those fabrics I had tried that far (several layered muslin, cotton batting, terrycloth) had failed in that. This fabric is truly a wonder: not only does it hold so much liquid within, it stays there locked without any troubles at all! For this very usage, I would recommend specifically Zorb® 3D fabric, and not the Lite version of it - while carrying out a simple comparison between them with just plain water involved, the Lite version did not quite have the power to almost retain the dryness of what the Zorb® 3D fabric was capable of! The Lite version would perhaps suit better for not quite that heavy wet occasions.
Works great! Just what I was looking for.
I sew sustainable products and this is material is awesome for my towels. Washes nicely and is easy to serge, but if using a sewing machine, adjust your needle accordingly.
This is my first time using this material. I was looking for something absorbent, as well as something that would look nice after being embroidered on. I definitely found it with this fabric. Highly recommend! 👍
I love this product & the color is amazing great absorbency
