Combining super absorbency, waterproofing and leak-protection into one.
For an optimal comfort experience with any Zorb 4D fabrics, we strongly suggest complementing them with a ProCool moisture wicking fabric to act as the wicking top layer. This pairing effectively eliminates any sensations of dampness or wetness that may occur when Zorb 4D is used as a standalone layer in applications intended for direct skin contact.
We start with our thirsty Zorb 4D Bamboo Dimple on one side, and laminate a hidden waterproof layer of 1-mil polyurethane film between it and our thin, light ProCool Performance Interlock fabric.
CORE PUL's contains a hidden waterproof layer, sandwiched between two outer fabrics; which provides additional protection for the waterproof film and increases the life of your product.
Our Zorb three-dimensional engineered dimple pattern has great retention, superior hold, fast distribution of moisture and less leaking under compression. It absorbs 10 times its weight in under 2 seconds and soaks up 20 times faster than other materials (bamboo, cotton, hemp knits).
Super-wicking ProCool interlock polyester fabric is uniquely engineered from premium hydrophobic fibers for extra protection from leakage.
Perfect for mattress covers, bed protectors, diaper changing stations and pet bedding.
CPSIA certified, meeting stringent standards by the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission on lead and phthalates and flammability.
100% eco-friendly, manufactured with no harmful chemicals or finishes in controlled conditions in American textile mills.
Unique process permanently melt-bonds our specially-treated TPU film to the fabric without toxic solvents. The process emits no toxic waste or VOCs that are harmful to the environment.
All Zorb fabrics are super absorbent by virtue of their knitting construction; they are not made with SAP (super absorbent polymers), so their super absorbency lasts for the lifetime of the fabric.
All Zorb fabrics are designed with the ability to exponentially increase their absorbency; pair with Zorb 3D on the dimple side & use multiple layers to supercharge your products' absorbency.
The difference between the V1 & V2 versions is the fabric combination used to create the Zorb 4D Organic Cotton Dimple CORE PUL fabric.
The V1 Zorb 4D fabric is made with the Zorb 3D Organic Cotton Dimple for maximum absorbency, and a polyester backing with a hidden waterproof layer for leakproof protection.
The V2 Zorb 4D fabric is made with the Zorb 3D Organic Cotton Dimple for maximum absorbency, and a organic cotton backing with a hidden waterproof layer for leakproof protection - making this a 100% organic cotton fabric

Important Notice about Natural Fiber Fabrics:
The attributes of natural fiber fabrics such as bamboo, cotton, and organic cotton can be influenced by various factors including the specific type of fiber used, the plant or tree from which it was harvested, and the unique properties of the soil. Despite the weight of the fabric remaining constant, its tactile sensation and perceived thinness can vary. This is largely dependent on the fullness of the yarn, which is dictated by the inherent characteristics of the fiber.
Fabric Weight: 650 - 700 GSM / 19.6 - 20.6 ounces per square yard
Fabric Width: 54" - 58" wide / 137 cm - 147 cm wide
Fabric Thickness: 0.140 inch +/- 10%

Approx. Shrinkage (Width): Minimal
Important Note about Shrinkage
All natural fiber knits will shrink further. Percent shrinkage has been tested in a controlled lab. It may vary under different wash/dry conditions and from batch to batch. It is recommended to test shrinkage on a small piece first and then pre-wash whole yardage at the setting that your finished stitched item will be washed.

Important Note about UPF Ratings:
Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) indicates how much UV radiation (both UVB and UVA) a fabric allows to reach your skin. For example, a UPF 50 fabric blocks 98 % of the sun’s rays and allows 2% (1/50th) to penetrate, thus reducing your exposure risk significantly. A UPF 30 fabric blocks 97% of UV rays and allows roughly 3% of UV transmission. UPF 15 indicates that the fabric blocks roughly 93% of UV rays and allows about 7% of available UV radiation to pass through.
UPF 10 to 30 = Fair Protection
UPF 30 to 50 = Good Protection
UPS 50+ = Excellent Protection

Important Note about Absorbency in 3D & 4D Zorb fabrics:
These fabrics are designed to be absorbent and made without the use of any chemicals during manufacturing. Our Ready-AbZorb process helps eliminate the need for pre-washing for absorption and also reduces the shrinkage. However the fabrics are made in large batch sizes on industrial machines and sometimes the fabric may not absorb as desired from when you receive it, or sometimes after cutting and sewing. In such cases, we recommend running the fabric through a hot wash and medium dry cycle; this will help remove any handling residues and activate the super absorbent fibers that might have been affected by handling.

We strive to provide high-quality fabrics suitable for a diverse range of applications. It is important to note, however, that we do not perform absorption testing on our fabrics. The absorbency of any fabric can be significantly influenced by the design and construction of the final product in which it is used.
Key Points:
Product Design Influence: The ultimate absorption capacity of a fabric in a finished product depends heavily on the product's specific design and construction. Variations in design can lead to significant differences in performance.
Recommendation for Testing: We strongly recommend that customers conduct their own testing to determine the absorption characteristics of our fabrics in conjunction with their product designs. This testing should consider all elements of product design and the interaction between different materials.
Interactions with Other Materials: The performance of our absorbent fabrics can be affected by the use of additional layers or materials. For instance:
Variability in Performance: Due to the myriad of factors that can influence the absorbency of a fabric within a specific product design—including material combinations, construction techniques, and external conditions—we cannot guarantee specific results without proper testing.
