Wazoodle Fabrics | A New Beginning

We are delighted to inform you about the exciting changes at Wazoodle, the most significant being the change in ownership. The new Wazoodle team is a family run business based in New Jersey. We are committed to continue providing you with the finest materials and maintaining the superior quality of products. We have also established systems to improve the turnaround time on orders and ensure better communication with customers. Significant levels of inventory of all fabrics have been stocked. Others like threads, snaps and kits have also been re-stocked & we are trying our best to ensure that all orders are shipped within 1-2 business days. So now we thought we should share the recent happenings with you!
The story of the new beginning
In July 2012 we learned that Wazoodle was being sold. We made many trips to Toronto to see the business. My family's expertise and experience is in textiles, operations and quality, so we understood that the Wazoodle product lines were excellent and the business was well suited to our capabilities. We decided to purchase the business with the idea of creating a new WAZOODLE and establishing an entirely new operation in New Jersey.
After that things moved very fast. The purchase deal was signed on August 7th, 2012. We purchased all the assets, the website and all proprietary product lines owned by Wazoodle. We also purchased all the existing inventory of the Wazoodle product lines. In the second week of August all assets and purchased inventory was moved to New Jersey in two container loads and made operational within two days (See pictures on our Facebook page). Stocks of the ever popular Zorb, Procare, PUL, Organic Sherpa, bamboo products and others were quickly built up.
Wazoodle USA was officially operational on August 15, when we made our first shipment from New Jersey. Soon we were shipping out yards and yards of Zorb and Procare every day, sometimes as soon as the same day as the order. (Okay, don’t hold me to that-since many orders are pouring in every day. I just know that I like to see as many orders as possible shipped within one business day). My team worked 12 to 16 hours every day to make this possible, I am so proud of them.
We know that many of you have been frustrated and disappointed with the customer service and shipping times of the old business. We had read many reviews of unhappy customers, so we knew what we were getting into. At the same time we knew that the Wazoodle products were excellent and deserved to continue being in the market. You can expect to see a dramatic change in this. If you are happy with our services and the order turnaround times, I request you to please share this within your groups and communities. Q & A
I've heard other companies claiming, they've bought Wazoodle product lines. Is this true?
That is not true! We acquired all existing useful inventory of the Wazoodle Product lines that are core to the Wazoodle business. We know some orders were shipped out from the Toronto business in August after the sale, but those were completion of previously placed orders, no new ones. We did not purchase the inventories of products that were not core to the Wazoodle business, those that we were not sure of quality-wise and those that we did not intend to stock in the future i.e. the twills, printed flannels, tactels etc.
With the new operation in New Jersey, how quickly will orders ship out?
You can expect faster turnaround times on order, as we continue to maintain adequate inventory levels to satisfy our customer demands. Operations are being streamlined to ensure orders are prepared within 1 business day (sometimes even the same day), unless we have a legitimate reason for delay. If there is a delay of more than three days on an order we inform the customer.
- US Customers have the option of choosing FedEx (BEST), UPS (Better) or USPS (Good)
(Note: Bear in mind, USPS orders may possibly have no tracking information & slow shipping times)
- Canada Customers will soon have the option of using Purolator Courier Services in addition to Canada Post. We will be shipping orders once a week (every Thursday) via Purolator Courier Services.
- International Customers have the option of using FedEx or USPS (United States Postal Service) for shipping orders internationally.
If any of our customers are in the area, please feel free to select the Pickup shipping method to pick up your order for FREE.
I placed an order before the company was taken over & I haven't received my order yet?
We are working with the previous owners to get the old orders sorted out – either shipped, refunded or transferred to us. Please contact us immediately if you placed an order before August 7th, 2012.
Will Customer Service improve?
Our customers are very important to us. We are aware that many of you have been frustrated and disappointed with the customer service of the old business. You can expect to see a dramatic change in this. I will be personally handling customer service as a show of our commitment to you.
